Aguanieve is a traditional son jarocho from the south of Veracruz, Mexico. This music has opened many doors to me and it's one of the reasons because I’m a musician. This music is beautiful, poetic, deep, powerful and speaks of yesterday, today and the future. About our dreams, of what we are and want to be and that is why it gives us identity.
In this version I include an introduction and a coda written by me with open parts for improvisation that my ensemble interpreted in a magical way.
